In the run-up to World Heart Day, CK Birla Hospitals, Jaipur organised an interactive session featuring Dr Samir Kapadia, Chairman of Cardiovascular Medicine and Director of Cardiology at Cleveland Clinic, USA.
Senior cardiologists from CK Birla Hospitals engaged with Dr Kapadia to deliberate on emerging trends shaping global heart care. The Cleveland Clinic has been recognised as a top heart hospital in the United States for more than 30 consecutive years. The discussion covered minimally invasive valve therapies, structural heart interventions, innovations in cardiac imaging, and the role of artificial intelligence in early diagnosis and risk prediction.
Specialists also addressed the increasing heart disease burden in India and discussed ways to adapt global treatment protocols to the country’s unique patient profile.
