Heartnet India launches women’s heart health screening campaign across five states – Express Healthcare

Heatnet India, an IoT-based cardiac care solution, has announced a campaign focused on “Early Screening of Cardiovascular Diseases among Women”. The campaign will run from 22 September 2025 to 6 October 2025 across Maharashtra, West Bengal, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka. The initiative combines gynaecological and cardiac screening methods to improve women’s heart health.

According to Heatnet India, heart disease is one of the leading causes of death among women in India. It often remains undetected due to lack of screening and awareness. The organisation has partnered with gynaecologists to provide low-cost and accessible ECG screening as part of the initiative.

Under this campaign, Heatnet India is offering gynaecologists the opportunity to promote early cardiac care for women through a year-long initiative. Gynaecologists can join the programme with a low-cost promotional package, with Heatnet India subsidising the cost of screenings and equipment.

Participating gynaecologists will provide ECG tests along with expert consultations at under ₹100, compared to the standard cost of ₹500. The campaign is designed to make cardiac screenings an accessible part of women’s healthcare across the five states.

Arindam Sen, CEO and Director of Heartnet India, said, “Due to limited awareness and access, women’s cardiac health often gets neglected. By allowing gynaecologists to offer ECG screening, Heartnet India is taking a step towards reducing the impact of heart diseases among women. We at Heartnet India are working to make cardiac care affordable and accessible to everyone.”

The campaign equips gynaecologists with tools to deliver early cardiac screenings and emphasises the importance of addressing women’s heart health. Heatnet India has stated that this initiative reflects its commitment to using technology and healthcare equipment to improve access to cardiac care for women across India.
