NU Hospitals, a leading multi-specialty healthcare provider, has announced a strategic partnership with MedLern, India’s award-winning healthcare training platform that is powering the people strategy of more than 350 hospitals. NU has integrated Laerdal Medical’s Modular Skills Trainer (MST) into its core training programs which run on MedLern. NU, which has already deployed its training on MedLern’s digital platform, will also start providing hands-on clinical skills practice and assessment on the MST.
The partnership marks a milestone in NU Hospitals’ commitment to advancing healthcare training through evidence-based simulation. The MST offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to get certified on16 core clinical skills including phlebotomy, catheterization, central line management, oxygen therapy, nasogastric tube management by practicing on realistic manikins with OSCE assessments which are captured on the digital app.
The MST platform provides standardized, repeatable training modules enabling healthcare professionals to practice critical procedures in controlled environments, ultimately improving patient safety outcomes and clinical confidence.
