India’s healthcare funding reaches $97.6M in October 2025: Tracxn report – Express Healthcare

Late-stage investments accounted for the majority of capital, with The Eye Foundation recording the largest funding round of the month

According to a report from Tracxn, funding in India’s pharma and healthcare sectors totalled $97.6 million across 8 rounds in October 2025. This represents an 18.94 per cent decrease from September 2025’s total of $120.5 million and a 6.64 per cent decline compared to October 2024.

Late-stage funding accounted for 76.8 per cent of the total capital raised during the month. Early-stage funding represented 15.4 per cent, while seed-stage rounds contributed 7.8 per cent of total investments.

The Eye Foundation secured the largest funding round in October 2025 with $75.0 million. Pluro Fertility and IVF raised $15.0 million, followed by Helex with $3.5 million, August AI with $3.0 million, and Neulife with $1.0 million.

Among venture capital firms, Bessemer Venture Partners participated in one funding round for Pluro Fertility and IVF. Pi Ventures was involved in one round for Helex. Inflection Point Ventures backed one round for FasTest.

Key points from the report indicate that funding fell nearly 19 per cent month-on-month and declined 6.6 per cent year-on-year. Late-stage rounds continued to account for the majority of capital deployed, representing nearly 77 per cent of total funding. The Eye Foundation’s $75 million round was identified as a notable deal that contributed substantially to overall funding during the month.
