Mobisoft Infotech has introduced its cloud-based Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) platform in India to support hospitals and clinics in managing mobility for patients requiring chronic and recurring care. The company stated that the platform is intended to address challenges in healthcare logistics by enabling safe, timely, and reliable patient transport while supporting continuity of care and operational efficiency.
The NEMT dispatch software aligns patient mobility requirements with suitable transportation options, including vehicles equipped for wheelchairs or stretchers when required. The platform automates recurring trips and incorporates smart scheduling, dispatch automation, and optimised routing to reduce travel times and ensure timely arrival for appointments. Integration with hospital appointment management systems supports coordinated patient flow, while trip history management facilitates consolidated billing and administration of government subsidies or patient entitlements.
The platform also incorporates safety, security, and data privacy features. Analytics dashboards offer insights into service reliability, driver performance, and patient adherence, enabling healthcare providers to review and adjust operations. The system can integrate with telemedicine services, hospital information systems, and home healthcare solutions to support broader patient care pathways.
Speaking on the development, Nitin Lahoti, Founder and Director, Mobisoft Infotech, said, “For patients undergoing recurring treatments like dialysis or physiotherapy, timely transportation can be a matter of continuity of care. Hospitals worldwide using Mobisoft’s NEMT software have reported fewer missed appointments and smoother patient journeys. With experience from successful projects in USA, we are now bringing NEMT solutions to India, helping hospitals and clinics streamline logistics and ensure uninterrupted care for patients.”
The company stated that the platform complies with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and is hosted on India-based servers. It also maintains HIPAA-grade data security measures, including encryption and controlled access.
Mobisoft Infotech plans to scale the platform across India with the aim of establishing a standardised, technology-led patient transportation model.
