Epoch Elder Care, a provider of assisted living and dementia services in India, has announced the launch of its newest facility, “Epoch Monet House,” in Pune’s Balewadi neighbourhood. The 10-floor, 33,000-square-foot facility marks a step in the organisation’s expansion strategy to serve Maharashtra’s geriatric population with assisted living and specialised care services.

The facility, located at Survey 22, Hissa No. 4/3, Taluka Haveli, Balewadi High Street, Laxman Nagar, opposite Panchshil Business Park, includes 56 rooms with a capacity for 70 residents. Its positioning in Balewadi enables families in both Mumbai and Pune to access services, given its connectivity to Mumbai via the expressway and proximity to medical infrastructure.

Neha Sinha, Dementia Specialist, CEO and Co-founder of Epoch Elder Care, said, “At Epoch, our journey of over 12 years has taught us that elder care, especially dementia care, is as much about empathy and engagement as it is about clinical expertise. With Monet House in Pune, we are building on this legacy, creating an environment where dignity, meaningful connections, and quality of life remain central to every decision. Our experience has shown us that when care is truly person-centered, it transforms not just the lives of the elders we support, but also their families. Monet House is an extension of this belief, combining our proven expertise with new initiatives to set new benchmarks in assisted living and dementia care in India.”

Rohit Bhayana, Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Lumis Partners, stated, “Epoch Monet House in Balewadi sets a new benchmark in dementia and assisted living, offering unparalleled depth in care through world-class expertise and compassionate connection. As our largest and most advanced center, it stands as a center of excellence, reflecting our unwavering confidence in redefining eldercare for India’s ageing families.”

Epoch Monet House has been developed to combine clinical care with a home-like environment. It includes facilities such as a physiotherapy suite, spiritual prayer room, family lounge, and day care area. Safety features include handrails, non-slip flooring, discreet CCTV surveillance, emergency call systems, call bells, wheelchair-friendly spaces, and clearly marked fire exits. The facility also uses the MyGate system for secure entry.

The location offers proximity to medical support, being seven minutes from Manipal Hospital and 15 minutes from Jupiter Hospital.
