Jindal IVF hosts 21st ART Update CME in Chandigarh focusing on innovations in infertility management – Express Healthcare

Jindal IVF, an institute in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) in North India, hosted the 21st edition of its ART Update CME on 31 August 2025 in Chandigarh. Themed “Innovations in Infertility Management and Future of ART,” the event focused on fertility education and strengthening clinical practice for doctors across the region.

The conference featured interactive lectures, expert-led discussions, paper presentations, and workshops with demonstrations. It drew participation from gynaecologists, embryologists, endocrinologists, urologists, and young fertility specialists.

The 21st ART Update included sessions on infertility care and reproductive medicine. The opening session on the Management of Endometriosis-related Infertility using Non-Invasive EFI Scoring was presented by Dr Umesh Jindal. Prof. (Col.) Pankaj Talwar, President of the Indian Fertility Society (IFS), spoke on Management Strategies in Male Infertility based on the Aphrodite Classification. A panel discussion on “Add-ons in IVF Lab: Evidence-Based Practice” was moderated by Dr Lavleen Sodhi and Dr Sheetal Jindal, providing perspectives on optimising outcomes in assisted reproduction.

Two parallel workshops were held as part of the scientific programme. One focused on the role and preparation of PRP in ART with practical demonstrations, while the other addressed IVF stimulation, including ovarian stimulation strategies, embryo transfer choices, and challenges in frozen cycles.

Senior members of the Jindal IVF faculty, including Dr Umesh Jindal and Dr Sheetal Jindal, took part in the sessions and interacted with participants. Oral paper presentations by young doctors were also featured, highlighting Jindal IVF’s focus on supporting future leaders in reproductive medicine.

The ART Update, now in its 21st year, has established itself as an academic platform for evidence-based learning in infertility management, fertility preservation, and reproductive endocrinology. The conference also addressed misconceptions around IVF and fertility treatments, aiming to align practitioners with global standards in ART.

With a record of over 12,000 successful deliveries, more than 20,000 IUI procedures, and 15,000 IVF cycles, along with developments such as PGT-HLA for Thalassemia major patients and advanced high-risk pregnancy management, Jindal IVF continues its work in reproductive healthcare in North India.
