Medisys unveils new anaesthesia and neonatal technologies at Medicall Delhi – Express Healthcare

Every heartbeat counts, particularly in surgery and newborn care. Medisys used the platform of Medicall Delhi at Bharat Mandapam to unveil its Made in India, Patient First, next generation of anaesthesia and neonatal technologies. These solutions are designed to place patient safety, comfort, and faster recovery at the centre of critical care.

The unveiling ceremony of the new range of anaesthesia and neonatal workstations was attended by cardiologist and Padma Bhushan awardee Dr TS Kler. A large number of healthcare professionals, hospital administrators, and policymakers were present at the launch. The event was also attended by Mr Varun Garg, Mrs Kaveri Garg, Mr Amit Aggarwal and Mr Anil Gupta, who all hold strategic roles in Medisys leadership and contributed to the introduction of the new products.

“With our new range of anaesthesia workstations and neonatal equipments, our main objective is to strengthen patient safety, improve monitoring, and provide clinicians with a truly user-friendly support system,” said Mr Piyush Gupta, CEO & Managing Director, Medisys, outlining the company’s mission to elevate Indian medical technology to global standards.

Flagship launches included COSMOS, an anaesthesia workstation with a 15-inch advanced interface and integrated patient monitoring; Medivent Grand, featuring a 10-inch touchscreen combining ease of use with reliability for intensive care; Spectra, a compact 7-inch touch workstation for varied healthcare settings; and Excelsior Pro, an upgraded version of the Excelsior machine equipped with digital monitoring and safety features. The new neonatology equipment, including LED Phototherapy and Infant Warmer, were also introduced. With these, Medisys aims to strengthen its presence in NICU setups in hospitals with a comprehensive neonatal range.

The event highlighted the transformation of Medisys from being known for manufacturing India’s first indigenous ventilator to a broader role as a leader in medical technology innovation.

“Our new and advanced were mainly designed to address the modern-day challenges in the anaesthesia delivery for ensuring a smarter patient care, faster recovery, and eco-friendly efficiency,” added Mr Piyush Gupta.

Attendees and medical experts noted that the launches represented a step forward in aligning technology with clinical needs, reinforcing Medisys’ positioning as an Indian company making global impact in critical care solutions.

At the launch, Dr Kler and other healthcare experts recognised Medisys’ efforts and described the new solutions as a step in blending technology with clinical needs, reinforcing the company’s role in critical care.
