Yuvrit Ayurveda raises USD 800,000 seed funding led by Incubate Fund Asia

Yuvrit Ayurveda has raised USD 800,000 in a seed round led by Incubate Fund Asia. The Bengaluru-based startup stated that the funding will be used to expand its clinic network in Bengaluru, beginning with new centres in HSR Layout. The company also plans to strengthen medical training, standardisation protocols, senior doctor hiring, and public awareness initiatives focused on preventive health and evidence-based Ayurveda.

The company is building a chain of doctor-led Ayurvedic clinics aimed at making Kerala-style treatment accessible and outcome-driven for urban populations. It stated that India has more than 400 million people living with chronic lifestyle diseases including gut disorders, joint pain, metabolic issues, hormonal imbalance, skin conditions and stress-related ailments.

Yuvrit Ayurveda was founded by IIT Kharagpur alumni Puroo Soni and Rahul Jhawar, along with Ayurvedacharya Dr G.G. Gangadharan as Chief Medical Advisor. The founding team said the model combines classical Ayurveda with modern diagnostics, digital tracking and protocol-based treatment.

The founders said their motivation came from personal experiences linked to lifestyle diseases and observing outcomes from protocol-guided Ayurvedic treatment while shadowing Dr Gangadharan. According to the company, early patient traction includes high repeat visits, reviews close to five stars on Google, and positive unit-level economics.

The organisation currently has a 14-member team comprising doctors, panchakarma therapists, clinical coordinators and operational staff, and plans to scale to more than 30 members as new clinics open in 2026.

Co-founders Rahul Jhawar and Puroo Soni said, “Patients don’t need more quick fixes; they need root-cause healing guided by experts. Ayurveda has the depth to solve India’s chronic disease burden, but it needs structure, trust, and scientific rigor. Our goal is to bring Kerala’s most trusted clinical practices to every urban neighbourhood with Yuvrit, a modern Ayurvedic care system that is authentic, standardised, and truly outcome-driven.”

Commenting on the investment, Rajeev Ranka, Partner at Incubate Fund Asia, said, “Yuvrit is building scalable, doctor-led clinics focused on addressing India’s chronic lifestyle diseases. Yuvrit uses evidence-based Ayurveda, with an early focus on Gut Health, to provide care. They combine classical Ayurvedic principles with modern diagnostics, digital tracking, and standardized treatment protocols.”

Dr G.G. Gangadharan, Founding Doctor and Chief Medical Advisor at Yuvrit Ayurveda, said, “For decades, I have seen Ayurveda heal and transform chronic conditions through correctly applied Ayurvedic principles. What India needs today is not more fragmented care, but a dependable system built on scientific rigor, evidence-based practice, and well-trained clinicians. Yuvrit is addressing this gap with structure, consistency, and genuine clinical integrity. I’m glad to be part of this movement.”

The company stated that the fresh investment positions it to build a scalable, standardised Ayurvedic outpatient platform for urban preventive and chronic care.
